On one of the hottest days of the year some brave senior citizens of RG1 came along to Carey Baptist Church  for an afternoon concert and some delicious tea and scones!

Despite the heat, the audience said how much they enjoyed the occasion and they thought the music was excellent. 

The event was in support of Age UK Reading who told us:
"It was a lovely day and we raised over £200. We had lots of positive comments on the Monday morning from our clients who attended. I know they really enjoyed it."
